Business Training, Education and Counseling

  Northwest Business Training Center (NWBTC) is dedicated to the cultivation and development of entrepreneurs. NWBTC was established to help entrepreneurs prepare to become successful business owners by providing you practical tools designed to focus on the basic business education and assistance. 

  We hold classes in King County and periodically have classes in Kitsap and Kittitas Counties.

  The Northwest Business Training Center now provides Distance Learning opportunities.

Business Services Offered and Programs

  Whether you are an established business owner or in the start-up phase of your business, the Northwest Business Training Center provides business consulting and training programs available that can help.

  • Business Consulting is available to discuss your business idea. We help you in areas of bookkeeping, sales and advertising, pricing, operations, human resources, legal structures, licensing, credit, and financing your business, and other business related topics.

  • Our 5-week Business Boot Camp in-class training program is designed to teach you how to develop your business idea or through a growing phase of an existing business. We cover the basic information you need to become a successful entrepreneur. This 5-week training program will help you understand the basics in marketing, finance & basic bookkeeping, business operations, and management. 

  •  The Financial Education Series is a 6-hour workshop that guides you through the basics of bookkeeping, providing you with the IRS requirements, and helping you to create and understand financial statements.

  • Self-Employment Assistance Program (SEAP) (a program of WA State Employment Security Dept.) may be available to you if you are receiving unemployment benefits, are unable to find a job in your industry, and wish to start your own business venture.
